The Consortium

The project is implemented by a Consortium of 10 beneficiaries consisting on 5 large European Research Institutions, 2 Universities and 3 small and medium enterprises from six different countries with dedicated crystalline host-rock disposal programs and particular competence in this field.

Management structures and procedures are established in order to provide for adequate implementation, communication within the project, reporting, and dissemination and communication of the outcome of the project to interested parties. In this context the roles and responsibilities of different bodies and partners within the project are defined.
There are four project bodies,
  • the Coordination Team, which is based on two organizations namely the Coordinator (KIT) and the Coordination Secretariat (AMPHOS),
  • the End-User Group, which is based on Waste Management Organizations (SKB, POSIVA and RAWRA) and Regulators (SSM and STUK) that represents the interest of the end users to the project,
  • the Executive Committee, which consist of the workpackage (WP) leaders, and
  • the General Assembly, which represents the interests of all project beneficiaries.
