The EUCG is a group specifically set up within the project in order to represent the interests of the end users to the project and its desired outcome. To this aim, the composition of the EUCG includes three European waste management organizations with dedicated crystalline rock HLW disposal programs. Another type of End-User Group members are organizations with regulatory functions. Waste Management Organizations and Regulators which have already agreed to participate in the EUCG are:

Amongst other, the role and responsibilities of the End-User Group is to guide the project with respect to the usefulness of the project achievements for the purpose of improving confidence in the Disposal Safety Cases.
